Manufacturers of riot and personal defence shields since 1977, when Arnolds made for the Metropolitan Police the first shields ever to be used in the UK. Some 30 years on input from leading tacticians and practitioners there is now an extensive shield range to meet the needs of modern day frontline personnel.

All Arnold riot shields are now type approved and ‘CE’ marked following extensive and rigorous assessment in the laboratories of Satra safety product centre, with EC type examination certification issued by Satra technology centre, European notified body number 0321.

Satra Test Programme:

The Satra test programme involves the testing of shields to destruction, using penetrating and blunt impacts, which replicate real life threats faced by users of riot shields, so if you use an Arnold shield you know you have totally reliable protection.
